The Best Coffee Shops in Chicago's Lakeview Neighborhood

If you're looking for a great cup of coffee, Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood is the place to be. There are plenty of amazing coffee shops in this vibrant community, and it can be tough to choose just one. That's why I've put together a list of my favorite coffee shops in Lakeview. Whether you're looking for a quick caffeine fix or an afternoon escape, these coffee shops have something for everyone.

So what are you waiting for? Start exploring!

Heritage Bikes & Coffee

Heritage Bikes & Coffee

I've been going to Heritage for years. It truly remains my favorite coffee shop in the whole city of Chicago. It's so popular that I even ran into Trevor Noah there – for real!

The coffee is great, the people-watching is even better, and the bikes they sell and service are top-notch. If you're looking for a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, Heritage is the place for you.

Dark Matter Coffee - Osmium Coffee Bar

Dark Matter is another great option for coffee in Lakeview. They have a wide variety of coffees and teas, as well as some tasty pastries. The space is small but cozy, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

It has a rather eclectic vibe, and a lot of my friends say they take their first dates there. So maybe give it a go?

Wake 'n Bacon

Wake' n Bacon

The vibes are so aestheitc at Wake' n Bacon. The ceiling is covered in a beautiful floral display, and the walls are adorned with local art. The coffee is delicious, and the breakfast menu is pretty solid too. They have a great selection of vegan and gluten-free options, which is always a bonus.

If you're looking for an Insta-worthy spot with great coffee, Wake' n Bacon should be your go-to. Plus, you can try their funky (and picture-perfect) Lavender Haze coffee.

Two Hearted Queen

I recently discovered Two Hearted Queen while cat-sitting in Lakeview's Boystown sub-neighbordhood. I had an iced latte and damn it was yummy. The space is small but mighty, with comfy mid-century couches and tables.

Maison Parisienne

Maison Parisienne is truly a taste of Paris in Lakeview. The coffee is excellent, and the pastries are even better. The space is small but charming, with a beautiful vibe. When you finish sipping on their top-tier coffee, hangout until lunch to check out their wine menu!

There you have it – my favorite five coffee shops in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood. I hope this list helps you find the perfect spot for your next cup of coffee. Thanks for reading!
